What are you looking forward to? I am looking forward to the warm spring sun, let me tell you!
Parents often find themselves looking down all day at the task at hand and not looking or planning ahead. With children that demand so much of our attention, it’s a challenge I know. At times I have to force myself to look up, looking forward…like my daughter going to high school next year. Wow—time flies. So after High School, then what happens after that? Only God knows for sure but if I don’t look forward and plan and PRAY about it now then whose hands will it be in when the time comes? When what we do today has such an effect on our tomorrow, shouldn’t we be looking a little more at our tomorrows? Such as praying and seeing what God has for us and our families so we can make the necessary adjustments to be where God wants us to be in our future. What is God showing you about your children? What are you doing about what He is showing you?
In April, we will celebrate the Resurrection life of Jesus.
Does your child know what that means, do they have a personal relationship with Him? Easter reminds me of heaven. Now that’s something to look forward to! And when we get there, I am looking forward to my heavenly Father saying, “Well done thou good and faithful servant.” Why? Because I know that along the way I have been making adjustments to fulfill His plan just as He has revealed it.
As parents, we have the responsibility to pray for our children and look forward for them to be sure they are ready to step into what God has planned for them.
KidzTown is just a part of their walk with the Lord. We are looking forward to seeing each child continue to grow into all that God has for them to be. They are looking to you to show them the way, so be sure to keep your heads up and looking forward, guiding them in their walk with the Lord. It is an honor for us in Kidz Town to teach the Word of God to your children. We would encourage you to bring your child to every service for them to benefit the most from all that we have to offer in ministry. Is your child involved in the Royal Rangers or Impact Girl ministries? If not, call me directly. I would love to tell you about how these two ministries would benefit your children.
Kidz Town is looking forward to some upcoming improvements over the next several months. It’s too early to tell all the details though but keep your heads up and see if you notice anything different come summer time.
